LIABILITY
Filipino Travel & Tours (FTT) acts only as an agent for vendors and service providers (Provider) and as such, it is not liable for any loss, injury, death, accident or damage sustained in the course of availing the indicated services. In the event of any delay or suspension, it is the responsibility of the Provider to take the necessary remedial action to address the same and its consequences. In any case, Filipino Travel & Tours will extend necessary assistance to address concerns of guests and to safeguard their welfare, but the Provider will be responsible for the final decision on such requests. Additional expenses incurred due to delay, suspension, accidents and local conditions must be borne by the guest.
Indicated distances and travel times are estimates only and descriptions provided are for general guidance only and may not be based on the latest available information. Travel routes/ itinerary, departure date, hotel accommodation or other service may be amended due to safety concerns, prevailing conditions or unforeseen circumstances. The right is reserved to substitute accommodation, shipping and air carriers of similar category or alternate programs, schedules, in any way necessary in the interest of tour members or due to circumstances over which the operators have no control, like weather and local conditions. Direct and indirect consequences of Acts of God or any circumstance/ emergency beyond the control of FTT and Provider such as failure to perform, delay, liability or damage shall be excused and shall not render them responsible for the same. In any case, any liability of FTT that can arise from its services shall be limited to the fees it received for the same, exclusive of tax.
Please be advised that it is the guest’s responsibility to arrange proper exit/reentry documents, validity of passport and visa for the country(ies) to visit. Given the possibility of changes to timetables, routings, programs, and (tour) prices, the same shall be subject to confirmation.
AVAILABILITY, FARES AND PRICES
The travel products / services sold through and all prices quoted on our website are subject to availability and can be withdrawn without notice. A tour is confirmed when full payment is received. Prices are subject to change until full payment is received and voucher(s) are issued.
YOUR VOUCHER & DEPARTURE POINT
Carefully check all details stated on your voucher and contact us immediately if these are not correct. Please present your voucher 15 minutes before departure to the staff at departure point of your tour. The location of the departure point can be found in the description of the tour and is stated on your booking confirmation. We cannot be held responsible for clients showing up late for their tours.
CANCELLATION
Cancellation fees will be based on hotels/ resorts/airlines and other charges of Provider plus a handling fee of Php 200 +VAT per person, even in fortuitous events or any condition beyond our control. Service fee is non-refundable.Refunds will be processed immediately after receipt of money from the Provider and receipt of unused tickets and negotiable documents.
In the case of Car Rental Services, Day and Banaue tours the following is applicable:
- Tours cancelled 8-30 days prior to commencement of services, twenty-five percent (25%) of the total price;
- Tours cancelled 1-7 days prior to commencement of services, fifty percent (50%) of the total price;
- Tours cancelled on departure day and later, 100% of total price, this includes when a tour is shortened.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
To protect the true credit card owner, we require presentation of the credit card used in purchasing tours from this website at the start of the tour. If the credit card owner is not part of the travelling party and is unable to present the credit card, CLEAR photocopies of the front of the credit card and the valid PHOTO ID of the credit card owner shall be required from the tour participants.
It shall be the responsibility of the credit card owner to ensure that the passenger(s) comply with this requirement otherwise the passenger(s) might be denied joining the tour.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Our solid recommendation to any traveler planning a trip to The Philippines is: make buying a general travel insurance policy a part of your planning before you depart— don’t leave home without it as generally liabilities and insurance coverage is basic and limited here in The Philippines.
