Explore the impressive Batad Rice Terraces, an amphitheater-shaped field, and hike to Tappiyah Falls for a refreshing swim. Itinerary
Day 1: Manila – Bakun
Pick up from your hotel at 7 am in Manila/Clark and drive to Bakun in 8 hours or 6 hours from Clark and stay in Mt Data. We will have lunch after 4 hours drive in Baguio at
the famous Bencab Museum with great views over the Chinese sea
Day 2: Sagada – Banaue
After breakfast We will drive 2 hours to visit Sagada’s Echo Valley, St Mary’s Church and a Coffee farm. Lunch at Masferree or Yoghurt house. After Sagada, we will drive for another 2hours to Banaue. Underway and if time permits, we will visit Bontoc’s tribal museum with artifacts and unique pictures from the mountain tribe. Check in at Banaue Grand View Hotel and the likes
Day 3: Banaue – Hapao – Batad
Pick up at your hotel, we then drive you to the village of Hungduan to witness the stunning Hapao Rice Terraces. In Hapao, optional trekking to the Bogya Hot Spring, which is a 1 hours hike per way or stay at viewpoint only. Afterward, mountain trail, taking only a 20 minutes to Batad viewpoint. At Batad viewpoint you will we drive another 1.5 hour to Batad. From Batad parking witness the amphitheater-shaped terraces located at 3,600 ft. Stay at Roberto Abung in area the rest of the distance is on foot using a Batad. Or we stay in Banaue with more convenient and better hotel choices and next daymountain trail, taking only a 20 minutes to Batad viewpoint. At Batad morning we proceed to Batad viewpoint you will witness the amphitheater-shaped terraces located at 3,600 ft. Stay at Roberto Abung in Batad. Or we stay in Banaue with more convenient and better hotel choices and next day morning we proceed to Batad.
Day 4: Batad – Bangaan – Ducligan – Mayoyao
Waking up between the rice terraces feels unique. Can hike early morning to Batad village or even the Tappiyah waterfalls if very fit. After early lunch back to the car for the Bangaan Village, Duclican Rice Terraces and Snake River viewpoints. Batad to Mayoyao is 1 hour drive along a very scenic road with deep cliffs along the side when approaching our destination. Upon arrival in Mayoyao, youmay opt to take a 1.5 hour trekking or just enjoy the viewpoint only. We then leave Mayoyao and its a 2.5 hours journey to Cauayan. We stay in Maximilian hotel
