Puning Hot Spring & Restaurant is the thermal springs along Sacobia River where temperatures range from 40 degrees to 70 degrees. The surrounding area looks like burning furnace as smoke endlessly billows from mountain crevices. It’s also scientifically tested by the Dept. of Science and Technology (DOST) as a results show zero coliform and pH level at neutral 7.5 pH.

Puning Hot Spring & Spa is a unique place to relax, meditate,and explore the grandeur of rock formation made by nature. Amidst those awesome lahar rock formation that will definitely captivate your imagination, you can also experience the healing effect of the therapeutic bath from the warm thermal spring of Mt. Pinatubo. Aside from those relaxing moment that it can offer it will also let you experience the thrill of riding the 4×4 jeepney crossing the narrow stream with a rugged roads and a craggy terrain.

Puning Hot Spring is located in Angeles City Pampanga. “Puning,” or Mother Nature in Mag-antsi, the native language spoken by the Aetas in Mabalacat, Pampanga.

08:00 am: Filipino Travel Center provides a private pick up from your house or hotel in Metro Manila. The drive in an airconditioned minivan will take approximately 2.5 hours.

10:30 am: Estimated time of arrival in Sitio Puning, Porac, Pampanga the BASE CAMP (1st station). The first station where situated the receiving office, restaurant and the starting point for the 4×4 jeep used in getting to the two other stations. Upon arrival proceed to receiving area for registration.  After a brief visit to the registration office, at 11:00 am we will serve your early buffet lunch before head down to the 2nd station. After your lunch meets your local Aeta guide who will accompany you to the trip. Ride a 4×4 jeep for about 30 minutes

12:00 pm departure to First Station

12:30 pm estimated arrival in Sand Spa Area or the Second Station. The health, wellness and pampering section of Puning where located. Upon arrival you have to change your clothes and proceed to an outdoor sauna. Lay down for about 15-20 minutes on hot sand while you were covered by it from head to foot. After your sand steam proceed to the mudpack area where the mud comfortably apply to your body.  This mudpack is purportedly good for treating skin allergies and tightening pores. After your 2nd station take a shower and prepare yourself for your third and final station. Ride again in a 4×4 jeepney for about 30 minutes.

02:00 pm departure to 3rd Station

On your way to the Third Station you will enjoy the rugged but beautiful terrain of a rock formations formed by lahar.

02:30 pm estimated arrival in The Third Station. Enjoy and relax their 11 hot spring pool and 2 warm pools.

4:00 pm: departure going back to the Base Camp or the First Station

4:30 pm: estimated time of arrival in the Base Camp

5:00 pm: Begin the return journey back to Manila.
