Taal located around 2.5 hours south of Manila, Tagaytay Ridge Tours offers panoramic view of Taal Volcano (weather permitting), the smallest and lowest volcano in the world.  Taal is also the name of the town and the lake in which volcano arises. Taal Volcano is considered to be the smallest and lowest volcano in the world.

Taal Heritage town is famous for its ancestral houses representing Filipino-Spanish architecture and churches. its Poblacion (business district) is designated as a National Historical Landmark. The Municipality is known as the Barong Tagalog (traditional men attire) Capital of the Philippines. Within the borders of the town you also can find Asia Catholic Church.

0730 – 0800am – Filipino Travel Center provides a private pick up from your house or Hotel in Manila. Drive in air-conditioned minivan that will take approximately 2 hours to the countryside South of Tagaytay City.

Your first stop visit at the highest part of the City “Palace in the Sky“, experience to board a local jeepney going up to the palace. Enjoy the view of the biggest lake in the country Laguna lake, Taal lake, Balayan bay and the active Taal Volcano.

After sightseeing tour proceed to the lakeshore town of Talisay heading to Taal town. Have your lunch in a local restaurant.

0115pm – you will pass by first to the Municipal Tourism Office for registration

0130pm – meet your local guide for heritage Tour Taal.

Visit the biggest  Catholic church in Asia – Basilica of St. Martin de Tours. An 18th century baroque style structure stands 95 meters long and 45 meters wide stands in the heart of Taal town.  See the bell museum inside the church, and walk 100 steps up to the church tower to witness the scenic view of the whole town.

Walk to the streets of Heritage Village/Ancestral houses of the famous Filipino revolutionaries such as: Marcela Agoncillo Museum the principal seamstress of the first and official flag of the Republic of the Philippines, Don Leon Apacible Mansion, Villa Tortuga, Casa Villavicencio and Camera Museum at Galleria Taal (collection of old camera’s datingback to 1860’s, this 147 years old house turn into a camera museum with 176 different kind of old camera.)

After visiting the heritage village continue travel to the town of Taal Batangas and visit the Barong Tagalog capital of the Philippines. Taal is most famous for this, sheer and lightweight tops worn by gentlemen. Have a chance to roam around the marker for some souvenir shopping and try some of the local sweet delicacies.

Before driving back to Manila, have a short stop at Brgy. Balisong. This village is known for their Balisong making which was originally design as deadly weapon. You have a chance to see how this made and the art of creativity of the locals but with additional charges.
