Itinerary
We will first visit Taal Vista Hotel, located on the ridge in Tagaytay, where you can learn about the rich history of Taal Volcano through informative text and videos. Afterward, we’ll drive to the pier and take a 30-minute banka (local wooden boat) ride to Taal Island for a closer view of the volcano. Alternatively, you can opt to kayak to the island. However, please note that we are currently not allowed to enter the island due to the volcano’s active status.
After returning from the lake, we will have a late lunch (at your own expense) at a lakeshore resort. Before heading back to Manila (approximately a 2.5-hour drive), we will stop by a local fruit market.
